Ana's Picks!
A good fun read for all ages. Goldman has crafted possibly the best "book within a book" tale of all time!
Culberston has a perfect understanding of what it's like to be teenager. This is probably because she has been a high school teacher for more than 20 years! Her stories are always absolutely perfect, funny, and real.
Talks about real issues of anxiety, family drama, and more with such grace and humor. Also, the main character writes fanfic, which is super fun!
One of my favorite HP books (how do you choose, really??) because everything really starts coming together and Harry's journey so far starts making a lot more sense. Also, LUNA LOVEGOOD!!!
Possibly the greatest book you will ever read. Adichie weaves together two beautifuly different stories of immigration from Nigeria to America with love and insight. A MUST read!
Haig writes in an abursd and honest way about humanity. He has a pretty crystal clear view of his own species! His non-fiction tackles these same issues beautifully as well!
Mandel is a master of non-linear storytelling. I reccomend ALL of her books-this is just her most recent.
A library between life and death. Searching through a Book of Regrets for the perfect life. But that's the question: is there such a thing as the "perfect" life? Haig is a wonderful storyteller and it is my humble opinion that this is the best book for the current state of the world.
I love anything Sally! She is a must-read for me. Beautiful and real!
