Local Authors
Our community is blessed with an incredible number of writers. We have everything from illustrators of delightful children's books to Pulitzer Prize winning poets; novelists to gardeners; spiritual healers to historians! These pages represent a sampling of this ever-growing number of artists.
If you live locally and have recently published a book, we'd be delighted to review your finished work and see if we can carry it. Take a moment to fill out our Local & Independent Author Submission Form here. Due to limited space within the store, we cannot guarantee every submission will be accepted, but we will do our best!

Ronnie Rush left Hollywood in 1984 to head to Sacramento to be with his First Love.
Ronnie knew no one except the girl he was going to be with and start a new life.
Read more about Ronnie as he, like Rush Limbaugh, made Sacramento his adopted Hometown.
Through the years, Ronnie blazed a trail in radio, concert promoter, as well as becoming a local Author.
Prior to Sacramento, Ronnie was with a famous group, known around the world and worked for Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds as a Roadie.
Read all about it in his first of two books, Life of a Roadie, the Gypsy in me. His second just released book, Walk A Mile in my Shoes.
